Twist House

We used the latest technology to build a home for modern-day living. The ground floor design is open plan, with two large sets of sliding doors at either end to bring the front and rear gardens into the space.

The first floor bedrooms have double height ceilings. There is under floor heating throughout the property. The stairs have been hand crafted and the lighting is designed to allow light to flow though the building.

The cutting edge design is further reflected outside, with a zinc roof, a two storey curved wall and large panels of glass.

The triangular plot is designed by 2 converging streets wedged between, the underutilised ground currently dissolves the junction between the streets and the volumes that define the site. The conceptual brief is to overlap and bind these volumes, creating a junction, giving continuity and direction to the site.
